Study Tips

Active learning is when you engage with the material actively rather than passively reading. Try the Feynman Technique:
1. Choose a Concept: Select a topic or concept you want to learn or understand better.
2. Teach It to Someone Else: Explain the concept in simple terms as if you were teaching it to a child or someone with no background in the subject. Use plain language and avoid jargon.
3. Identify Gaps and Review: While explaining, you’ll likely encounter areas where your understanding is lacking or where you get stuck. Note these gaps and return to your study materials to review and fill in the missing knowledge.
4. Simplify and Use Analogies: Simplify the explanation further and use analogies or metaphors to make the concept even more understandable. This helps deepen your understanding by connecting new information to existing knowledge.
5. Review and Refine: Repeat the process, refining your explanation each time until you can explain the concept clearly and concisely without gaps.
