The 4-7-8 Breathing Method
Controlling your breath is the quickest way to calm your body and mind down. Check out the 4-7-8 method, use it anytime you feel stressed:
1. Close your mouth and inhale through your nose for 4 counts
2. Then, hold your breath for 7 counts
3. Exhale through your mouth, making sure to make a ‘whoosh’ sound for 8 counts
