Help Yourself

Managing time is challenging for teens today. We often have lists of tasks but struggle to complete them. Use these hacks to make time for what you love:

1. Make a Schedule – Creating schedules is common, but sticking to them requires motivation. Reward yourself when you complete tasks, whether it’s enjoying ice cream, reading a book, or watching a movie.

2. Focus on One Task – Avoid multitasking. Tackle one task at a time for better concentration and quicker completion. Only move to the next task once the first is done.

3.Set Priorities – Identify your priorities to organize your schedule effectively and work towards your goals.

4.Use Apps – Technology can help you manage your time. Try these apps:

Rescue Time: This tracks your time spent on apps and websites. It creates a report to show you where you’re spending the majority of your time, and just how much time you are actually spending on a screen.

Brain Focus Productivity Timer: This is a timer that allocates a set amount of time for studying, and a set amount of time for a break. If you’re like me and get distracted easily when you’re studying, this app can really help!
